Account and data deletion

Request deletion of your eCargo account

eCargo users can request deletion of their account and associated data. For security, the fastest and safest method is to sign in and submit the request from inside the app.

How to request deletion

  1. Open eCargo and sign in with your phone number.
  2. Go to Settings, then Privacy.
  3. Choose Delete account and data and confirm the request.

If you cannot sign in, contact us from the phone number or email connected to your account so we can verify ownership before processing the request.

What happens after a request

We review deletion requests to protect company accounts, billing records, fraud prevention records, and legal obligations. When approved, we remove or anonymize account data, revoke active sessions, remove devices and notification tokens, and detach the user from company access where possible.

Data we may need to retain

Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute, anti-fraud, or platform safety reasons. Examples can include invoices, audit logs, payment records, moderation records, and records needed to protect other users or companies.
